                      Product Overview

                      ADG5404 is a complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) analog multiplexer, comprising four single channels. The on-resistance profile is very flat over the full analog input range, ensuring excellent linearity and low distortion when switching audio signals. This switches one of four inputs to a common output, D, as determined by the 3-bit binary address lines, A0, A1, and EN. Logic 0 on the EN pin disables the device. Each switch conducts equally well in both directions when on and has an input signal range that extends to the supplies. In the off condition, signal levels up to the supplies are blocked. All switches exhibit break-before-make switching action. Typical applications are relay replacement, automatic test equipment, data acquisition, instrumentation, avionics, audio and video switching, communication systems.

                      • Trench isolation guards against latch-up, low RON
                      • 5.3V logic-compatible digital inputs: VINH=2.0V, VINL=0.8V
                      • No VL logic power supply required, latch-up proof, VSS to VDD analog signal range
                      • On resistance, RON is 9.8ohm typ (VS=±10V, IS=−10mA, 25°C, VDD=15V ± 10%, VSS=−15V ± 10%, GND=0V)
                      • Source off leakage, IS (off) is ±0.05nA typ (VS=VS=±10V, VD=∓10V, VDD=15V±10%, VSS=−15V±10%, GND=0V)
                      • Transition time is 187ns typ (RL=300 ohm, CL=35pF, VDD=15V ± 10%, VSS=−15V ± 10%, GND=0V)
                      • Bandwidth (-3dB) is 53MHz typ (25°C, RL=50 ohm, CL=5pF, VDD=15V ± 10%, VSS=−15V ± 10%, GND=0V)
                      • 14-lead thin shrink small outline package [TSSOP]
                      • Temperature rating range from −40°C to +125°C
